solid rock theater ministry

The Solid Rock Theater Ministry exists to glorify God through the powerful combination of storytelling, music, and live performance. We believe the arts are a meaningful way to share biblical truth, encourage faith, and create connection—both within our church family and throughout our community.

Want to be a part?

Theatre Ministry is more than just performances...it is a creative and meaningful way to share the gospel, build community, and help people of all ages use their gifts for God’s glory. If being part of something joyful, impactful, and Christ-centered sounds exciting to you, we would love to invite you to join us!

There are many ways to get involved both onstage and behind the scenes. From acting, singing, and narration to costumes, props, set design, painting, lighting, backstage help, organization, and production support. Every role matters and every contribution helps bring these stories to life.

As this ministry continues to grow, we are also looking for people willing to step into leadership and support roles to help carry the ministry forward in a healthy and sustainable way. Our current team has faithfully poured countless hours into productions over the years, and additional support is needed to continue creating meaningful experiences for both our church and the community.

Maybe you have experience in theatre or maybe you simply have a heart to serve, create, organize, encourage, or learn something new. There is a place for you here.

A few upcoming opportunities include:

  • Helping with skits and drama elements for Vacation Bible School
  • Assisting with next year’s children’s spring musical
  • Learning or serving in directing, stage management, production support, or creative planning roles
  • Supporting behind-the-scenes needs that help productions run smoothly
