If you’re between the ages 15 and 25, love being onstage, and want an opportunity to shine God’s light through your talents, then we want you! Grab a friend (or fly solo) and come try out for HiTops!

Set in 1985, three novice angels are sent to Earth disguised as teenagers to infiltrate a high school campus.

Their mission is to study peer pressure and the deep effects it can have on young people—where fashion, friends, music, dating, and popularity are everything. Through infectiously catchy musical numbers and a dynamic cast of characters, the show, while appearing lighthearted and funny on the surface, dives deeper into following God’s unique plan for each of us and is power-packed with truth for all ages.

HiTops touches on sensitive topics through a biblical lens, such as lying, drug use, sex, and bullying.

WHO CAN AUDITION:

We are looking for high school students and young adults ages 15–25 to help bring this story to life.

Prior experience is a plus, but not necessary.

Choose a time on either Friday, February 6th, 6pm- 8:30 pm or Saturday, February 7th , 10am-2pm
and Callbacks the 9th, 6-8:30

DIRECTOR – Leader of the group HiTops; sings and holds auditions for new members

LEWEY – Exactly as it sounds; the bad guy; sings

NORMAN – A classic ’80s nerd; awkward, struggles with feeling like he’s not enough; sings solo

GINNY – Pretty, conceited, and mean, but it’s a front to hide feelings of inadequacy; sings

TONY – Popular, friendly, likeable; Heather’s boyfriend; sings

HEATHER – Popular, smart, friendly; Tony’s girlfriend; sings

FINNLEY / TWINNFINN – A novice angel sent to Earth disguised as a teenager to uncover the meaning of “peer pressure”

LILY – A novice angel sent to Earth disguised as a valley girl to uncover the meaning of “peer pressure”

GABRIEL – Top angel who sends the novice angels to Earth
